SCHOOLS

Schools are one of our favorite places to bring meaningful design to since they are the hub of children’s lives and learning for so many hours. What should be more important than having an engaging space that has the aesthetics and beauty purposed to the value of their time? From elementary school bathrooms, gyms and libraries, even playgrounds, middle school entries, stairwells, quotes and cafeterias, to high school sports medicine rooms, and more, school design not only uplifts the students, but teacher morale and all who enter!

 

Loudoun School for Advanced Studies: Monument Sign

“Lasting Learning”
Exterior Monument Sign, Loudoun School for Advanced Studies, Ashburn, VA

This AIA award-winning school deserved more than the builder’s sign out front to tell people WHAT this cool building was. Fun Places designed a fitting monument sign for the front which utilizes a mix of faux wood, metal and lighting to match the unique exterior of the school. Construction has not yet began, but it will be a great welcome to all who come and drive by the busy site. CAD design by Andrew Ferrin.
