Fun Places began in 2002, founded by the passion of making delightful spaces that allow people to dream and imagine – bringing creativity, joy and interactivity into what can sometimes be mundane days! This company has grown through satisfied customers, enlightened viewers and word-of-mouth referrals to now include hand painted furniture, product design, custom painted wall art and home goods, public art sculpture, public and private interactive murals, an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition appearance, logo design, corporate coloring books, and custom celebration items like personalized cookies, wedding placemats, or live painting among many other things.
Over the past 22+ years of designing public art and unique spaces for a large number of public areas and pediatric companies, Fun Places has had the honor of working with the best clients. Danielle Ferrin, Founder & Chief Artista
Danielle is a lover of life with an unwavering belief in the amazing possibilities in people and things. She has a fondness for color, Christ, kids, soaking up information, inventive & unusual spaces, squirrels & long-haired guinea pigs, polka dots and creating new ways to recycle “not-neededs” or overlooked treasures into art. When she is not painting or designing, she enjoys micro-photography, being in nature, traveling to new off-road places and vintage anything. Danielle is married to her wonderful opposite in the Washington, DC region and has four awesome adult kids. She has been making art since she was small and exhibiting and selling art since high school.
Every day is an adventure of seeing what amazing NEXT is coming down the road!
Traci Stobbe, Chief Organize-Officer
Traci is an amazing “keeping it real” kind of lady whose talents help support all aspects of the behind-the-scenes at Fun Places. She has an awesome ability to dress in costume, be silly and bring great joy to all around here, including sanity to Danielle. She loves getting to know others and compassionately serves as a mentor and world-changer. She loves sitting across from people over coffee, traveling, and growing things that bring beauty and God’s love to this world. She follows Brian Tracy’s belief:
“Love only grows by sharing. You can only have more for yourself by giving it away to others.”
Traci and her husband live in St. Paul, Minnesota and have three adult kids. They love enjoying the peace of outdoors which includes hiking, kayaking, exploring and walking their dog. She also enjoys reading, making people laugh, all things Iowa and eating pot pies.
