“Where the Wild Things Are”

This BIG sized room was created for a sweet four year old boy, who truly loved this book and had the spirit of the main character, Max. This mural began with a while room background painting of trees and then the 6’ characters (monsters) and Max were all cut from an MDF wood, painted and hung in the room for a dimensional look. The stars around the room glow in the dark and the monsters even have glow in the dark eyes! A custom lampshade was made and stuffed animal monster versions added to add finishing touches to this immersive room.
