Public Art

PUBLIC ART

Over many years, Fun Places has been able to participate in public art events spanning across cities or whole states.
These public sculptures were sponsored by local businesses or organizations and displayed for families to “find” - sometimes a series of 20, often up to 100+ of each statue! Our sponsors have included banks, universities, college savings programs, an insurance company, dentists, architecture and design companies, a sporting goods store, a hospital, college savings program, the developers of the Mall of America, and more. Some of these events have honored Charles Schultz, the Science Museum of MN, Israel’s anniversary of statehood, and even Kemps Ice Cream flavors. Statues have included giant metal robot-cut tooth fairy wings, toothbrushes ran by windshield wiper motors, Elvis attire adorning a life-size cow, and even tiny Woodstock with Swedish buns and wearing clogs!
